Spring Oak Farm is a family farm located north of Cookeville, Tennessee in a community know as Rickman, Tennessee. The Brown family operates 6 green
houses as well as vegetables grown in the field. We grow many varieties of different vegetables and constantly try new vegetables. We strive to produce
vegetables that have excellent taste in all we grow. Most of our production is grown hydroponically. This type of controlled agriculture allows us to extend growing seasons and, in some crops, maintain year round production. This is a family owned and operated farm.

We grow Tomatoes, Cherry tomatoes, Swiss chard, Napa cabbage, Basil, and Cilantro in media in the greenhouses, and feed them thru a drip line, this is primarily hydroponic growing, We raise lettuce, Arugula in straight rails hydroponically. We start all our plants from seed, except sweet potato slips which we purchase from a Tennessee grower. We are a mixture of hydroponic, natural, and conventional farmers. We use companion crops to help control insects, and we do not spray.
The primary goal of Spring Oak Farm is to produce fresh, good tasting vegetables for our customers to enjoy.
