Walnut Ridge Farm is located in Clinton, TN on Dutch Valley Rd. The farm gets it's name from the abundant number of walnut trees that line the valley of Walden's Ridge. We are located on about 8 acres of land to which most of it belonging to the animals. The chickens, ducks and our honey bees pretty much have free range of the place. We took in 30 quail (unexpectedly) and gave them a home. As a result we also have quail eggs to share and enjoy. Their eggs, once boiled, make eggcellent additions to salads.

Our garden is currently 50ft x 300ft and soon to be covered completely by a high tunnel. Expansion to a fruit orchard and berry orchard is in the works once the high tunnel is installed. In the mean time, please enjoy the eggs that our chickens, ducks and the quail have produced.

The chickens are free range. We do keep them contained at night in a coop. They all come in at around 8PM on their own. The ducks would stay out all night if we let them... Regarding the food they eat. A majority of the chickens diet is what they find in nature, under logs and on the ground. I do give them layer feed which is an 18% protein containing corn, soy, and oats.
